Elizabeth Ganzi – President

Ms. Ganzi brings over 25 years of event experience to SloweGANZI Interantional. Her expertise lies in grand scale event logistical planning and execution. She was trained by the secret service at The Presidential Advance School serving President George Bush Sr. in this special event capacity, managing motorcades and arrival and departure official ceremonies.

GANZI Productions, Inc. formed in 1993 and was immediately appointed Program Director for the Papal Visit to Baltimore. Ms Ganzi managed and produced 9 events in 12 hours for His Holiness Pope John Paul II, and supervised 4,500 secret service agents during the visit to Baltimore for the events. In addition, she raised over $500,000 in corporate sponsorship programming for the event.

Ms Ganzi’s experience extended into global sports and entertainment with World Cup U.S.A., where she created three public special events for The Coca-Cola Company including a free concert on the National Monument Grounds with Ziggy Marley and attendance exceeding ½ million people. She served as an assistant director for the World Cup Organizing Committee’s live TV Opening Ceremonies in Washington, DC with Chaka Kahn.

Ms. Ganzi has directed numerous live special event shows for TV producing all aspects of talent, choreography and music in addition to ceremonial protocols of FIFA Fairplay and Flag Presentations. GANZI Productions has also served a few worldwide football franchises to include The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Brazil’s CBF. The GANZI Team managed team logistics, training centers, media, marketing as well as producing cultural and sport programming promoting the country’s participation in the games throughout the United States.

GANZI served as consultants to the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games, creating and developing the “Opening Ceremonies Viewing Parties” for all Olympic Corporate Sponsors. At that time the GANZI Team was retained by Coca-Cola Worldwide Sports to manage all marketing presence and special events for the 9 Olympic outlying venue cities including all Olympic soccer venues.

GANZI Productions was selected by The Promise Keepers to produce all logistical plans for security and transportation for the “Stand in The Gap” million man march on the Washington Monument Grounds. Ms Ganzi was recognized for her work on this outstanding historical event and awarded honors for her work by the International Special Event Society for “Best Logistical Event Planning” for an event exceeding 1 million participants.

Ms Ganzi is the visionary who created and founded “The Greater Washington Exploratory Committee” (GWEC) to lead Washington, DC’s bid for the Olympic Games of 2012 for the Nation’s Capitol and surrounding region. She raised over a half a million dollars in 9 months uniting the regions business community in support of the bid. Ms. Ganzi was appointed by Mayor Marion Barry to represent Washington, DC in the Olympic bid process. She worked directly with the United States Olympic Committee as well as the International Olympic Committee developing strong relationships with National Governing Bodies and Athletes worldwide in support for the DC bid.

Ms Ganzi’s humanitarian dedication and vision for the Capitol was demonstrated in the many grassroots special events she created empowering the inner city children to engage the in their cities Olympic dream. Many Olympians visited Washington, DC to support GWEC’s bid with “Kick –Off” events for the bid that included a Torch Relay from the Capitol steps to the Kennedy Center where a cauldron flame was lit to ignite the bid.

GANZI Productions France was operational during the US Olympic bid process. Ganzi- France SARL worked exclusively for Coca-Cola Worldwide Sports and Coke France to create and execute the marketing presence plan for the “Coupe du Monde”, World Cup 1998.

Ms. Ganzi opened SloweGANZI International with partner Wole Akande in the United States and Nigeria. The Company served as marketing and special events consultants to the Nigeria 99’ Organizing Committee working with Corporate Sponsors, Opening Ceremonies and the Trophy Tour. Ms Ganzi managed all logistics for FIFA Chairman Sep Blatter and the FIFA Board of Directors on behalf of the Nigerian Presidency. The Company also represented Coca-Cola Nigeria creating marketing presence programming and special events for Coca-Cola’s sponsorship of the Nigerian FIFA games.

Ms Ganzi continues to create and produce special event and entertainment projects in the United States and Africa. She produced her first reality show in 2010, “The Real Housewives of Naples” and is currently developing three reality shows for Nigeria television.

She serves on the Advisory Board for “Art of The Olympians” and in 2011, she produced an event for “Art of the Olympians” with special guest, His Serene Highness Prince Albert of Monaco II and 40 Olympians from around the world.

Ms. Ganzi is an expert in event management and has taught special events management at the George Washington University in Washington, DC. She is a creative producer who has the ability to create unique special events that are “grand scale” with her abilities to design events, execute events and develop all corporate sponsors to support the events. Her commitment to causes and non-profits as a volunteer is endless as her passion is to bring goodwill and hope to many organizations around the globe. Her non-profit contributions are diverse assisting organizations such as; The Desert Storm Surviving Dependents Fund, Earth Day 25’, Lifebeat Aids Quilt VH1 Show, Samaritans Purse, The National Rehabilitation Hospital, Coats For Kids, GWEC Olympian Youth Program.

SloweGANZI International continues to develop sports and entertainment projects both in the United States, Nigeria and Brazil. Ms Ganzi’s passion and dedication to the Olympic movement continues in her continual efforts developing grassroots youth initiatives and programming that engages governments and corporations in public/private partnerships.
